Smoking. Pickling. Fermenting.
Preserving the flavors of all four seasons—one dish at a time.
Dyeing. Weaving. Beating.
Let every touch bring back a tradition—every gesture a craft.
Songs. Rituals. Dance.
Through chant and movement, the soul of a people lives on.
Every act of preservation is a quiet tribute to the land.
Each moment, each motion, gently records its memory.
Late summer in the valley—where we meet again.
Each dish, each craft, each performance
is a poetic offering written by tribe and nature together.
A Hundred Dishes × Music in the Wind × Edible Stories

Preservation is not just tradition—it’s a way of life.
It holds depth in the ordinary,
ferments slowly between mountain and sea,
carrying time forward in silence.

This summer, the East Rift Valley Festival 2025 proudly presents its very first Traditional Archery Friendship Match.
A gentle breeze stirs across the grass as skilled archers from the tribe take their places -- bows drawn, spirits high. You step up, eager to join, coached hand-in-hand by tribal partners who patiently teach the craft. Feel the focus settle in as your palm presses against the bow.
Whoosh! The arrow flies -- its arc slicing through the air, etching the memory of late summer deep into your heart.
